White Dog Shaker Syndrome is presumed to be an autoimmune inflammation of the cerebellum, with a strong breed predisposition. It presents as an acute onset of tremors, which may persist for days to weeks and can be recurrent, causing distress and interfering with normal activities but rarely being fatal.
